Health & Safety

HEALTH & SAFETY IS OF PARAMOUNT CONCERN TO EVERYONE AT GARFORTH SCAFFOLDING.

Before Garforth Scaffolding begin a project a Risk Assessment/Method Statement (RAMS) is carried out. This is read and signed by all our operatives. Upon completion, all work is inspected by a supervisor & the clients appointed site manager. A SCAFFTAG or handover certificate will also be supplied.

We have qualified safety advisers who implement Garforth's comprehensive Health & Safety Policy. We have our own safety officer using the CADS SMART Handover/inspector system who inspects all scaffolds every 7 days or after inclement weather and sends a report direct to client, within our Safety team there is a wealth of practical scaffolding experience which is invaluable both for our staff, our clients, and the general public. Our Safety team also contribute to safety training, RAMS, toolbox talks, regular site visits and work closely with our client's Health and Safety staff at every stage of a project.
